The challenge

What Engrave Me Now needed.

Engrave Me Now runs two very different services from one Staten Island studio: engraving while customers wait, and a nationwide mail-in service. Customers needed a clear way to pick between them, book or order without creating an account, and pay up front, while jewelers and other businesses needed their own way to send recurring work.

Goals

Let customers book an appointment or mail an item in, without an account
Take a deposit at booking so reserved time is paid for
Give wholesale clients their own login for recurring work
Let every customer check their order status without calling

Our approach

How we built it.

We built one Next.js site with three entry points (mail-in, appointment, and wholesale), each a guided step-by-step flow, with order tracking that works for mail-in orders and appointments alike.

01Six-step appointment booking: date and time, details, and a 50% deposit that confirms the slot
02Same-day booking rules built in: slots close 30 minutes ahead
03Three-step mail-in order flow across seven item categories, with cart and checkout
04Wholesale portal with business accounts and a separate login

Engrave Me Now is live at engravemenow.com, taking appointments, mail-in orders, and wholesale accounts through one site, with bookings open seven days a week.

Deposit-backed booking
A 50% deposit reserves each appointment and is applied to the final balance. The booking is confirmed the moment payment goes through.
Nationwide mail-in
Customers anywhere ship their item in. Most mail-in orders are engraved and shipped back the same business day they arrive.
Wholesale portal
Jewelers and businesses get their own accounts and login for recurring engraving work.
One tracker for everything
An order number and email show status from submitted through completion or delivery, for appointments and mail-in alike.
No account needed
Customers can order or book as guests at any time. Accounts are there for those who want them.
Live in production
